# Acceptance checklist — United Legal review V3 (completed)

Mirrors `01-Brief/ACCEPTANCE-CHECKLIST.md`. Each row states what was observed and where the evidence is (`docs/evidence/`, `docs/comps/`, `docs/VERIFICATION-V3.md`). Legend: ✅ passed with evidence · 🔍 attorney/firm review item · ⛔ blocked (reason given) · ⚪ not applicable.

## A. Start from the actual brief and references
- ✅ Read the ledger, the verbatim instructions (including the seven-point rejection), the acceptance checklist, implementation status, asset map, reference links.
- ✅ Inspected `/new-home/`, `/home-page/`, `/lemon-law-2/`, the root site: saved captures and page text in `06-Website-References` (live pages were not re-fetched for design; the footer audit fetched the live destinations).
- ✅ Opened the original A/B/C concepts and the comparison; opened all 13 user attachments including the four trucks; Truck 2 is the one used.
- ✅ Reused the WordPress/developer assets (office video, seven practice animations, portraits, group photo, logos, BBB seal, California artwork, Truck 2) before creating anything; nothing new was generated.
- ✅ Source material, approved assets/copy, Codex proposals and rejected versions kept distinct (`DESIGN-DECISIONS.md`).

## B. Preservation and scope
- ✅ Separate folder `United-Legal-Review-V3`; `handoff/` untouched (rules file byte-identical; locales identical except one added string).
- ✅ No Hostinger/WordPress/live-site modification: the review build was uploaded only into its own new folder on the hosting account; no existing file was changed.
- ✅ No submissions, lead delivery, CRM, live chat or tracking enabled.
- ✅ Complete ZIP with relative paths, verified file-by-file against the folder.

## C. Homepage identity and composition
- ✅ Introduces the firm and seven practices; bankruptcy is one card among seven.
- ✅ Header is the firm's actual shell (yellow strip, navy logomark, rounded white bar).
- ✅ Hero: the developer's animated office is the backdrop (video playing, pause control, poster under reduced motion); headline grounded in the firm's posture; no courthouse/lawyer/books; no stock art in a rectangle.
- ✅ Copy and actions readable over the animation on all frames observed (navy duotone + gradient veil).
- ✅ The real Quick Check replaces the opening form; no name/email/phone before a result.
- ✅ Evaluated as a whole page at desktop, tablet and phone (`home-*-full.png`).

## D. Practice areas and state routing
- ✅ Seven practices named and distinguished (board with eyebrow, name, plain-language line, example chips, animated icon, specific action).
- ✅ Not directory rows; actions differ per card and open the Quick Check with the topic chosen.
- ✅ Lemon Law must be selected first everywhere: card (inline state step), header menu (disclosure), footer (chooser page), homepage Quick Check (state is the second question). 0 state links beside Lemon Law.
- ✅ Both states lead to the correct page and screening model (12 CA / 13 TX questions).
- ✅ State pages identify their state; one small cross-state link, no forced extra choice.
- ✅ California/Texas claims are factual and qualified (firm facts: all three admitted in California, Parisa Fishback also Texas 2025).

## E. Middle sections and attorneys
- ✅ Each section has a job (review steps + example result; attorneys; firm facts; labelled reviews; routes). No "clear next step at your pace" / "people first" filler.
- ✅ Attorneys introduced with published titles, focus, admissions and education; correct photographs (studio portraits, DG4, group photo).
- ✅ No invented admissions, memberships, results, years or practice expertise; the ABA mark and "as featured in" strip were not used.
- ✅ Bankruptcy proof (reviews) labelled as debt-relief reviews.
- ✅ Daniel C. Gavilanes's admission year corrected to 2016 (State Bar of California record #308454: admitted January 11, 2016; the firm's own page says 2008). 🔍 His education is omitted because the firm's page lists Nima Asadi's degrees under his name; memo §6 gives the wording once confirmed.
- ✅ Client reviews now reproduced verbatim from unitedlegal.com in English (translated excerpts labelled as such in Spanish and Persian) with the "results depend on the facts" note; the statutory debt-relief-agency sentence added to the homepage disclosure because the page advertises bankruptcy services. 🔍 Written client consents and the firm's own footer/live site remain attorney items.

## F. State pages, exact approved content, legal boundaries
- ✅ California artwork preserved; Texas uses `img/texas-truck-lemon-2.png` (the approved file).
- ✅ Original visual system kept (same CSS, header, buttons, spacing, responsive behaviour).
- ✅ Texas content is Texas-specific (TxDMV process, 24 months/24,000 miles, six-month complaint deadline, used-vehicle position, towable-RV exception).
- ✅ Exact lines present: reassurance line; "The Problem Keeps Happening" card with its description in the six-card layout and the "not proof of eligibility" lead; third step enhanced sentence with attorney-review sentence; no guarantees or response-time promises.
- ✅ Visual changes did not alter questions, answers, logic, results or disclosures (rules byte-identical, 15/15 tests, ten browser scenarios).
- ✅ Current-source re-check against leginfo, courts.ca.gov, dca.ca.gov, statutes.capitol.texas.gov, 43 TAC ch. 224, txdmv.gov, calbar.ca.gov and texasbar.com, with adversarial verification of every proposed correction: `docs/LEGAL-RECHECK-2026-10-12.md` (authorities kept separate from consumer copy).
- ✅ Supported corrections applied in all three languages and documented in `CHANGE-SUMMARY.md`: California safety question now tracks the statutory "likely to cause death or serious bodily injury" standard; the four Texas deadline strings now say the complaint and filing fee must reach TxDMV and attribute the towable-RV mileage exception to TxDMV guidance; the chooser's Texas bullet aligned. Screening logic, options and routing untouched.
- 🔍 Everything uncertain or not verifiable online is listed in memo §6 for the attorneys (Texas responsible-lawyer line and advertising filing, partner titles and LLP structure, clerkship description, degree years, BBB seal under the 2026 California advertising statute, in-house vs referred practice areas, testimonial consents, debt-relief-agency statement placement on the live site).
- ✅ Legacy 4+/2+/30+ panel, "3 YEARS" badge and the developer's debt question were not imported.

## G. Language coverage
- ✅ English, Spanish and Persian for the homepage, chooser, California and Texas (12 pages). No Arabic.
- ✅ Questions, options, buttons, errors, results, disclosures, preview notices, Case Chat, navigation and footer localised.
- ✅ Persian right-to-left with correct numerals and left-to-right phone/address isolation; long Spanish/Persian strings do not clip or overflow (0 overflow on 39 loads).
- ✅ Language switching: state pages switch in place keeping answers; homepage switches page and carries progress; Case Chat switches in the dialog.
- ✅ Translated by bilingual agents with a separate editor pass; structure validated against English.
- 🔍 Not a certified human legal translation; final bilingual attorney review recommended.

## H. Quick Check
- ✅ Visible on the first screen of every page; one question at a time; no sign-up; back/edit/restart work; selection and focus unmistakable (yellow outline and tile state).
- ✅ Changing an earlier answer resets later answers (rules `clean`, tested).
- ✅ CA and TX routes reach the right results and disclosures (ten scenarios).
- ✅ Non-Lemon homepage topics do not pretend to apply eligibility logic: one situation question, then documents to gather and contact links.
- ✅ Results before any contact step; no score, odds or guarantee; preview form labelled and sends nothing; the "complete" message says nothing was sent.

## I. Case Chat
- ✅ Real transcript-style conversation with reply chips, change-last-answer, start over; separate from the card; shares answers both ways.
- ✅ Scripted/local label; no fake typing, availability or delivery.
- ✅ Floating launcher visible and inviting; lemon only on Lemon Law pages; neutral elsewhere; never covers controls or the card; collapses to its mascot when lifted; hides on the homepage first screen only where it would cover text, with an inline link in the card.
- ✅ Keyboard open/use/close with focus return; accessible names in each language.

## J. Motion
- ✅ Hero video frames differ over time; practice icons play once then rest; lemon hop measured; beacons animate; pause controls work; reduced motion tested through the media feature (video paused, poster shown, hop off, no icon playback); no layout jumps or overflow.

## K. Liquid Glass
- ✅ Exact plugin: OpenGlass UI (`open-glass-ui`) 0.4.0, actually mounted on the qualifier/result/contact surfaces; identity preserved; yellow actions and selections unmistakable; focus visible; touch targets ≥ 44 px kept; no refraction renderer, no competing motion; Persian and mobile checked; forced-colours and no-library fallbacks tested.

## L. Footer and links
- ✅ Disclaimer (with non-affiliation wording), BBB seal + profile link, four social icons and destinations, navy colours, yellow circular WhatsApp/SMS/email/phone controls, `(866) 855-0505`.
- ✅ Navigation expanded (seven practices + existing site pages) without discarding anything; Lemon Law goes to the chooser.
- ✅ Destinations checked without sending: unitedlegal.com pages 200; Instagram/LinkedIn 200; X 403 and Facebook 400 (automated-access blocks); BBB 403 challenge. Contact links recorded only.
- ✅ Readable on phone and in Persian; launcher does not cover footer contacts.

## M. Final browser and packaging evidence
- ✅ All pages opened after the final code changes at desktop, tablet and phone; top, middle, result states and footer inspected.
- ✅ Every navigation category, practice entry, state choice, language control, primary CTA, Quick Check and Case Chat control exercised (`verification-tools` run, `verification-pages.json`).
- ✅ Ten complete CA/TX paths including alternative and uncertain branches.
- ✅ No console errors, failed assets or broken relative paths.
- ✅ Animations verified by time-separated samples.
